A lot of people think that Jimmy sucks, so it's not the craziest thing if Purdy is actually better.

I am actually no fan of Jimmy G.
I understand he is a bus driver for a very complete Niner team. Which is why the Niners are trying to make Trey Lance the future.
But if this guy balls out all year & especially if he plays well in the playoffs.
He could do what Tom Brady did.
Drew Bledsoe had just gotten a big contract & was the Pats future for years & Tom Brady blew all that up when he was forced to start.

Gonna be fun comparisons for me if Purdy does ball out. (which would be awesome for the Niners)
