Agree. That's why I think they need 2 awards. Him, Dame and Lebron are more valuable to their teams and I'll bet we could come up with 1 or 2 more if we gave it some thought.
I think both Durant and Westbrook are more valuable. OKC missed the playoffs without KD last year and have never been great without Russ either. Kawhi is certainly in the conversation too.
Westbrook>Curry
Curry is playing like crap. Luckily for him, it is a regular season award.
After watching the playoffs I think we learned Curry is human when faced with real defense. He may have been the third or fourth best point guard in the playoffs.
You picked a curious time to say this right after a MVP caliber game 4 performance in an important victory.
Shoulda done this after game 3.
I'm saying as a whole in the playoffs. He's a hell of a shooter on a great team but one could argue he has been outplayed by Lillard, Westbrook, and Irving.
Irving? LOL. Westbrook probably yes overall in the playoffs. He's still the MVP of 2016 and soon will have another ring. Who else should be the MVP? Westbrook's team lost way more games including 4 vs STeph's team in the playoffs.
Also he's more than just a shooter. This isn't Kyle Korver here.

LOL, Curry took over the games against Portland, including that record-setting OT. He owned Westbrook at the end of the OKC series. He just badly outplayed Irving and will probably do it again.

Which game was this?
I was making an indictment of Curry's MVP award. I was just saying he has been human in the playoffs except for a couple of spurts. He was like a walking video game cheat code for much of the regular season.
Curry buried the Cavs with his play in Game 4, while Irving was burying his own team with his decision-making during crunch time.
This is true, he's been less godlike in many of the playoff games. But he hasn't had to be, and he was hurt, and in Cleveland's case at least they have really focused on him. Agree though that he's had some stinkers, game 3 was maybe the worst game in years for him.
The playoffs are different.
