No he was never a half yard beyond the stick.Ertz easily could have made six more inches on his route. He made the catch a half yard beyond the sticks.

Luke dropped a critical 3rd down forcing a punt. The pass hit him in the face mask on the sideline as JD was scrambling to his left from pressure. This play was an underthrow and could have been called PI. Don't remember Luke dropping one but I do remember a bad miss when he was wide open or a post route. Brown and Ertz had drops. They scored on the same possession that Brown had the drop if I am remembering correctly.
I don't mind the hate, but to use that word in reference to folks who look a certain way forever condemns us all to being that ugly slave. Let's do better!this is facts, all us young black guys are laughing because we hate BSJ that much. it is inappropriate for sure though
The ball hit his hands before the face mask. It was a clear drop without any alteration from the DB.Luke dropped a critical 3rd down forcing a punt. The pass hit him in the face mask on the sideline as JD was scrambling to his left from pressure.
True…like every thing we convince ourselves of, it becomes truth. He did catch it beyond the line to gain.No he was never a half yard beyond the stick.

When he caught it he was right on the line. This is not like the end zone where the play is over, on this play when he turned the play was still alive and he had gone back a bit on the turn. By the time he made contact, and was down at that point, there was no clear shot of the ball. I happen to believe the ball was right about at the 1st down line when he was contacted but there was no shot of that so no chance of an overturn.True…like every thing we convince ourselves of, it becomes truth. That is what I have been saying. Dean is the one I’m trying to convince.
the replay showed no one touching him on the turn. the original spot was when Ertz went back, the refs thought he was touched there. He wasn't. that is why the ball was spotted a full yard behind the 41.
Ummm…did you talk to them about it?
There is no way they believe he was touched down as you claim because nobody believes it after replay. And there is no way to figure out what they were thinking without replay.
