This is one of your all time winning posts, and you've had manyYeah, 60-65 yards......Damn. I'm still trippin.
I didn't even see it. I was too busy being super butt hurt. I went back in to the game thread n saw a post by Country that said the Skins won. I was like what? You got some splain' to do Lucy. Went to the nfl section of espn. saw the final score n spent the next 5 minutes looking for a highlight.

I wasn't around in the 90s - out in Cali at that time but when I returned home for a visit... Gtown was dramatically different from my earlier memories.I used to hang in Georgetown in the early 90s. Crazyhorse for me. Driving over the Key Bridge hoping to make it back to Alexandria if you know what I mean.
Crack epidemic. In the 90s it was a nice. Now it's just a bunch of high end shops. Nobody drives up and down the strip anymore.I wasn't around in the 90s - out in Cali at that time but when I returned home for a visit... Gtown was dramatically different from my earlier memories.
After my departure, there was a surge of violence, gang loitering and some other super unsavory incidents (including some shootings) that come around. I heard police had to make their presence known and then it was gentrified with the indoor Mall as well as the Waterfront area, and a lot of the old iconic watering holes and late night eating spots had disappeared.
I never felt unsafe roaming the streets at all hours during the 80s, lol
Hey in the 80's it was the height of cocaine, just ask Dexter Manley... still safe to walk around, lolCrack epidemic. In the 90s it was a nice. Now it's just a bunch of high end shops. Nobody drives up and down the stip anymore.
