Using this to rank where I'd put all the films. I'm not counting Solo because the story is a big enough departure from the "Skywalker Saga" that I don't think it fits. Rogue One slides in nicely though.

Made a change bumping Sith into my original list. I watched them all recently before seeing Rise and I changed my mind about it. It definitely the best of the prequels and itself is stronger than I think most give it credit for (some cheesy dialogue aside)

I haven't seen it yet.

I rank it as the best of this trilogy, but I'm not sure if I would put it ahead of anything else.

I definitely rank it lower than any of the original 3, Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One, and Solo. What I'm not sure about yet is how I rank it compared to Episodes 1 and 2. I remember being entertained by it as I watched it for the first time, but now I don't really remember why and I'm not real anxious to see it again. I think that's pretty similar to how I felt about episodes 1 and 2.

In isolation, it's probably a better individual movie than those 2. But as far as its contribution to the overall story goes, I think it's weaker than those 2, especially if it truly is the final chapter.
