C'mon man, I'm trying to enjoy tax day.

If Therrien's a defence first coach, he's doing a terrible job of that. I think it'd be fair, though - the team's progression under his tenure has been almost entirely due to Price's emergence as the best goalie in the world. That lands on Bergevin too, of course, but Therrien's shelf life has historically been rather limited.

Maybe if they dropped that asinine "must speak French" rule?

I agree about Price and the French speaking rule. I think the team talent wise is better than when Bergevin took over, but its hard to tell under Therrien's system.

I'd take Guy Boucher. Bring him back from Europe.

Well, ya never know. I've seen tweets from more than a few "hockey experts" this week saying the Leafs should/will look at Boucher. Because Tampa suffered so badly when they let him go...

He deserves a shot. I think he'd be better suited for a Buffalo or Toronto though, a team undergoing a youth movement. MTL should be a hard driver for Babcock if they do cut Michel. Might actually be the perfect fit.

He may as well not have for all the good he did. Ditto for Plekanec.

I don't care what he did all year, or in an earlier round.

2 measley goals and similar assists in 6 huge playoff games is not enough in my opinion. Not from a ~40 goal scorer.

When the chips were down he failed.
