Sorry, he does. Coaching staff needs to go, but the QB did them no favors.
He has Brett Favre's recklessness, but without Brett's accuracy.
i.e. He's Jeff George.
Of the 3 Ints today 2 could have been caught but were tipped for Ints instead. They weren't great throws but they weren't terrible either. The 3rd was mostly bad luck on a ball that should have been batted down at the LOS but just stuck to the DE. Yes, he isn't accurate enough, he needs to make better decisions, but he's our guy, he's young and he has a shitload of talent. We're stuck with him for better or worse.
We're excusing as pick that was thrown to a defensive lineman as bad luck?
Just saying a DE doesn't hold onto that 9 out of 10 times... especially that
close thrown that hard. I'm not suggesting it wasn't a bad throw.
Points to a larger symptom ... that Stafford's passes seem to hit the hands of D-lineman way more than those from most QBs.

No, he's atill Matthew Stafford 2009 in 2013. Let's get some coaches in here who know how to develop a God gifted kid QB. Thankfully he's only 25 and not broken beyond repair like Carr was.
Yeah and with that sidearm thing he should get fewer batted down. At least that's the theory I hear for why he does it from those who defend it.
A #1 pick, alleged elite franchise QB shouldn't need to blame his consistently bad throwing on coaches. It's a sad thing.
