Not a fan of FSU's new logo, should have stuck with their old one.

In Louisville - life after Teddy begins. No worries - Will Gardner stands tall at 6'5 / 225 and threw bullets to a returning fleet of receivers. TE Gerald Christian will love Petrino's offense. Freshman RB TL Scott was very impressive and will push senior RBs Dominic Brown & Michael Dyer. Veterans return on the O Line which allows me to rest comfortably at night.

On D - replacing Calvin Pryor is my biggest worry. Louisville switches to 3-4 this season & should be entertaining to see our returning veterans on Line & LB corp wreak havoc. It's the secondary that has me concerned.

BTW - Petrino has been welcomed back with open arms in the Ville - and expectations are high to say the least. Lookin forward to Labor Day weekend & gettin nasty with some ACC football.

Spring games are more for the fans than the players. Simply because the defense knows what the offense is going to do. They know their schemes. So if the offense gets anything by the defense, it's just because of defensive breakdown.

Dawgs had 46,000 ... saw what we needed to see.

Went to UNC's game ... good food in the Blue Zone. I'm thinking that they had about 10-15K at most.

Eric Striker was terrorizing the offensive line. Seems they still have a little work to do there, but they'll be good.

Striker is the guy I like on their defense. Too bad I hate the Sooners. :noidea:

Right back at ya buddy. Our D should be better this year. They've got a lot of anger to take out on your short horns.

Bama looks like dog shit. Kiffin should have been fired at half time

Auburn looks tough. They'll win by 3 TDs this year

Malzahn running his full offense could be very dangerous...

The fuck kinda defense is awburn running? Close your eyes, count to 3, and hope the ball carrier hasn't scored a touchdown yet?

Lot of people at the Auburn game. Not as many at the Bama game as usual, it seemed.

As for Texas, well we had a former WR/TE playing QB on one side, and a raw (should be red shirt freshman, but Mack felt the need to put him in a couple games last year to hand off)Tyrone Swoopes on the other.

Swoopes looked terrible at first, but settled down and ended up looking better than I've ever seen in his very limited time.

Highlights were Malcolm Brown at RB, who is a beast. And Malcom Brown at DT, also a beast. As for the rest, still very much a work in progress...

Alabama doesn't have their QB yet and Auburn has a lot of defenders out. What I saw doesn't mean squat just a floor show for the crowd.

Auburn should have flipped a tailback to the other team when Peyton Barber went down the white team couldn't get any run game going. I'm kinda disappointed the only reason I really wanted to watch was Barber and the receiver D. Williams.

yeah, spring games are like crumbs to a starving man. You get kind of excited, then, not really.

Players hate spring practice, but coaches love it.

I thought so, not much excitement coming off a 5-7 season (probably looking at another crappy year) but people still have faith and believe Butch Jones can get things turned around. Also gives some of the early enrollees a little taste of what it's gonna be like playing in front of huge crowds, so guess that's a plus.

Don't like the construction that they did below the press box...looks kinda funky. Wish they'd left it like it was.
