its an old flick...probably early nineties...about alien abduction...walken is made for roles like that

Whitley Strieber goes with his family and some friends to his holiday home in the forest. They experience some weird occurances, are they UFO activity? Whitley is abducted and then faces a horrible dilema; was I abducted or am I going mad? He sees a psychiatrist who tries to use hypnotic regression to discover the truth.

Yeah, Walken would have killed that...

That movie sucked...

Kid who played the dude once he was a teenager was an attrocious actor..

The scenes where he's courting that chick are just painful to watch.

not everyone loves cock as much as you

Two years ago we played them and dominated them

6 point game dumbass. (not counting the 2 for the BS safety when Palamulo kicked the ball) That was also when Brady had the elbow thing and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn for 3 games. But given the Pats dominance over them can see why that 1 means so much to him ha ha

Yep... that Polamalu play was one of the most unaware plays I've ever seen... get glorified by the media and Steelers fans.

That was the last play of the game.. The only thing that saves the Patriots there is someone picking up the ball and running it to the house. And Polamalu commits what should have been a 10 yard penalty.. extending the game and shortening the field.

I still remember SJM the day after the game here talking about what a great play it was. It actually was a really stupid play that could have cost his team the game.

No matter how good a movie is, ever... The book is always better...

Exhibit A is The Godfather... Excellent movie... Book was much better.

actually, the Godfather 1 and 2, might be the exception to that. Movies were at least as good as the book, maybe better

A beef I had with The Godfather movies was that they didn't remotely get into the character's heads like they do in the book.

The key scene at the end of the movie and the book... Where Michael swears to Kay that he'll tell her the truth just this one time about his affairs... and she asks him if he really arranged the murders of those men... He looks her in the eye and lies to her.

In the book, they tell you that Kay can tell that he's lying to her, and she would never trust him the same again in her life. It's a huge part of the story as it completes Michael's transformation from the character at the beginning to the guy he becomes at the end.

and in the movie.... you get none of that. And that would have been a HUGE piece of the storyline to godfather 2... and it never materializes...

Just one example.
