you should come to Midland... almost half of the population is Mexican (officially), it's probably more than that if you count the non-residents

My girlfriend grew up in McAllen. I've had Mexican food in Texas. I'm just saying that if you're in Chicago and you go to the barrio, it's as good as anywhere. Probably more authentic cause it's not Tex-Mex, it's Oaxacan or Guadalajaran or Chichuahan or whatever.

Although I do admit y'all can fry some shit down here. I work at a country club and they provide lunch for us daily and we have some old black lady who makes fried chicken, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and okra and tomatoes every Wednesday. I think I'm getting fat.

speaking of pizza... I went to a fairly new pizza place Thursday night with some friends.....

they lost my order, so one of the girls just gave me a free dessert... then the manager came by and gave me a coupon for a free large pizza... then they apparently found my order and made an extra pizza by mistake and just gave it to me

so I got 3 pizzas and a dessert for the price of 1 pizza
