Chip Kelly recruited Mariota and coached him his first two seasons at Oregon, so it's no surprise that he would want him in the pros as well. I don't know how the Hell would have to give up to get a high enough draft pick to get him (according to the article, a likely figure would be three first rounders).

I don't think that Mariota's stock dropped so much that Philly wouldn't still have to give up at least a couple of first round picks to get him. I do think that he'd be more valuable on Philly than on any other team, but I'm not sure that the price isn't still too high for that to happen.
