Not much else i can say that hasnt been said already.. instead I'll just add a little bit about my interaction with Steve on here.. A few posts back it was mentioned that Boss was an overwhelming favorite to be a mod on here when everyone came over.. He was sheepish abt it, didnt want to be different than anyone else. It took some convincing that all he really had to do was just oversee things, even then he was still almost shy about it. As time passed by, i cant even count how many times he helped out in other situations all across SportsHoopla. His wise words always calmed or diffused a situation. He basically just "had it". We'll miss having him around for sure but Im sure he's already picked up a new gig that has him happy as well.

It was a few years ago and I'm guessing it was on the ESPN board. But I always remember how proud and excited he was when he became a grand-father for the 1st time. If I remember correctly his grandchild and the parents didn't live in the Buffalo area (somewhere in the south?) but he couldn't wait to bring his grandchild to Sabres' games whenever they would visit.

Agreed, he had earned a lot of respect at ESPN (even from the crap posters). His endorsement of this site brought it legitimacy. It gave a lot of posters the confidence to make the switch.

Still can't believe he's gone. Woke up today hoping this was a bad dream. We'll miss you Bossman! Buffalo sports teams will no doubt have an angel rooting for them up in Heaven. God bless Bossman, his friends, his family, & all his favorite sports teams.

Didn't know Bossman but I can tell by his footsteps here that he was a terrific person. I did have a close online associate pass away and it was a real drag so my condolences to you folks who lost a good friend.
