In addition to final cut kicker shopping Dallas has to go OLine shopping too.

By default I'd say there has to be better players than our depth up front, hell it's quite likely another team will cut a OT better than Steele and he can move to the swing T.

Don't hold your breath here
I agree. While I’m all in on signing an OT I don’t expect teams will be cutting guys better than Steele unless a salary dump because they happen to have a cheaper younger player to step in so they cut a high priced vet. I do think a FA like Fisher could fight Steele for the job but clearly the team has no interest in that so I’m looking for a swing tackle not a starter.

Yeah I think we sign one of the last kickers to get cut from another team. Which I am suspecting, we wont know who our kicker is until almost start of week 1.

We all know football Jerry is historically bad.
He 100% see's himself as a football guy.

I respect the football conversations over the many years and enjoyed every minute.
Many times maybe too much.

Look forward to the coming season.

You have to look at the whole picture.

Collins missed more time than Smith, the team couldn't go into 2022 with both OTs at risk on sure injury, and Steele out played Collins.

So yes in hindsight they should have rolled with Collins, but the evidence in front of us says they were right at the time.

They really need to find Tyrons replacement. If thats Tyler, then they need a new RT.
I don't have a problem with Steele. I think the Cowboys first 5, with Smith at guard, is pretty good. I just think that Collins is twice as good as any of their backups and could keep them in good shape if Tyron goes down. His salary this year wasn't bad at all

Fair enough.

Either we disagree or you know more about football players abilities than I.
I don't know more football than you, just my opinion. I saw the Cowboys give McGovern a shot to start last year when Williams was struggling with penalties and he graded out terribly and they went back to Williams. Maybe McGovern got on some high protein peanut butter in the offseason. Hope so, he is next in line

For shits and grins
I also think our QB at 40M per is not near the worst 40M per QB in this league
I don't either, but you have to be a Hell of a QB to win big in the NFL when you make $40 million plus, because you are going to lose your supporting cast. Aaron Rodgers lost Davante Adams, Mahomes lost Tyreek Hill and Dak lost Cooper. We will see if any of them are good enough to overcome it

Super Bowl MVP Chuck Howley and All-Pro defenders Joe Klecko and Ken Riley are finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's class of 2023.

Love to see this...questionable
Howley should have been in a long time ago. Woodson should have been in a long time ago he should have been in 3rd or 4th year eligibility at least. And it was shameful how long it took for Drew to get in. He should have been a first ballot Hall of Fame Inductee.

Cheap flag at the end. Williams wants to hit QBs. He is going to get steady pressure. Hopefully he hits Brady like he did Rypien.

Cowboys have 7 night or off Sunday games. Which means for us that dont live in the Texas area. We get almost half the games on TV.
Then we might still get some Cowboy games on Sunday if they become the Sunday game on TV.
