Agreed. Two time defending champ and 14-1. What are we doing lol
Also I think their defense, Reid and the rest of the coaching staff are hugely responsible for their success this season with Mahomes still having a great year but below average by his standards.

A little luck and late game penalty calls never hurts either :heh:

Only like plus 78 despite 13 more wins than losses, is pretty wild

So now that Beck is done for the year, Georgia has to be removed from the Playoff, right?

I mean, that was the standard set by the Committee last year -- if a team loses their quarterback, they are out of the Playoff, regardless of what they may have accomplished during the season.

Or wait, let me guess, different rules will be made-up on the fly to advantage SEC teams? Quelle surprise. Apparently Florida State should have hidden the extent of Travis' injury until it was too late.
This is baseless and doesn't make any sense whatsoever. You don't see the massive difference in the two scenarios?

Anytime you can keep FSU from the playoff, even better , national television, you'll have better football.

Slight change of topic, but sufficiently close to fit the thread -- and now in maybe the most bonkers transfer news ever, Carson Beck wants to transfer from Georgia.

I guess he what, wasn't provided enough opportunity at Georgia? The most priceless quote: "He wants to win," said the source close to Beck. "He didn't come back to get knocked out at halftime of a conference championship."

He's leaving Georgia because he wants to win?

Unless repaired soon, this transfer business is going to be the death of college football. I think if you start 60+% of games, and your coach doesn't leave, you should not be eligible for the portal.

He isn't an NFL quarterback and he wants to get paid good money next year. Good for him.
