When your team is as good as Seattle's is or the 49ers, it is a super bowl trip or bust kind of season. Doesn't mean you can't be proud of how your team played all year, but you know if they don't get there you will be disappointed. As will they. Nothing wrong with that stance, it just shows how good the team is and what their goals are.

RV, that's only true of the Seahawks, haven't you been reading? The Seahawks are far superior in every category and at every position, including the home field benefit. Given that, the 49ers should be happy just getting a wild card -- the Seahawks on the other hand should have the attitude that anything less that a super bowl win is a complete failure. How could it not be when they're so superior to all the other teams at every level?

Sarcasm anyone?

The Hawks are only superior in every category and every position compared to SF. :suds:

So they will get the division and homefield. If they get home field they should go to the super bowl. No excuses.

Seems like a big assumption about how good SF is, that being better than them means we will get homefield advantage.

Not at all, if they win the division they should have home field. They'll have a better record than new Orleans or any other division winner.

Exactly my point, you are assuming that SF will force Seattle to win all their remaining games in order to win the division and get homefield advantage, which is a HUGE assumption considering the teams remaining schedules.

I'm assuming the hawks will have a better record than new Orleans or the nfc east winner, or the nfc north winner.

People really should stop picking on the NFL's 4th best team*.

* as ranked by ESPN.

It would be more disappointment and anger then how proud I am if the Seahawks don't get to the SB. That feeling would eventually go away after time, or more like when the draft starts. Both our teams have the window wide open for multiple SB runs.

Yea we did. And it is something we should be proud of. 5 for 5 was the best in NFL history. 5 for 6 isn't bad. Better than the hawks anyways

Smack talk Harold, remember the thread we're on. By the way, for the hawks not to win the Super bowl this year would be a monumental colossal choke of epic proportions. They have the best qb, best rb, best defense and best coach in the league.:suds:

We get the sarcasm, yo, but really, are you just a 1 trick pony? This has to be around 4 threads you've posted this trash, including your board. Do you have anything else to share?

Actually, the 9er fans that were debating pre-season about positions, had SF as the better QB to push, had the better set of backs in Gore/Hunter, had the best OL in football, had the best TE in football, had the WR's as slightly better, you had the best front 7 in football.

The ONLY positional rankings that were Hawks was obviously, the secondary.

Based on your fans thinking a return SB trip was paved and having the better positional players at all but 1 area, it would really be a "monumental colossal choke of epic proportions" if the 9ers didn't win the SB.

Btw, you really don't need to double up on "monumental colossal". You might as well use a comma and add to it for a colossal effect. They're synonymous and we got it.

"Yo" have any creativity next time or will it just be a rehash of the same 'ol same 'ol? :noidea:

I would like to think our history would have been better if we had an owner that cared from the beginning.

Seattle is the most overrated team!!!

You have one of the weakest schedules, without Lynch your offense would be the worst in the league and your defense is not as good as advertised. In games I have seen teams ran all over u, your quarterback was pathetic and I am of the impression that your big strong cb's would get roasted once they face fast receivers and a qb with an arm by just throwing it deep and the wr's just outrunning them.

C'mon, yo, bring something to the party. The broken recorders were thrown out 20 years ago.

What else you got besides connections at the airport? :noidea:

Are you on crack? If so it would explain a lot!

And when we play at our worst we still win. Next?
