When your team is as good as Seattle's is or the 49ers, it is a super bowl trip or bust kind of season. Doesn't mean you can't be proud of how your team played all year, but you know if they don't get there you will be disappointed. As will they. Nothing wrong with that stance, it just shows how good the team is and what their goals are.
RV, that's only true of the Seahawks, haven't you been reading? The Seahawks are far superior in every category and at every position, including the home field benefit. Given that, the 49ers should be happy just getting a wild card -- the Seahawks on the other hand should have the attitude that anything less that a super bowl win is a complete failure. How could it not be when they're so superior to all the other teams at every level?
