Sherman popping off at the mouth

I was at that game and doing the same thing as Sherman! It was due!
Those F'in Redskin fans were more than cocky. I took so much heat
when the Hawks got behind 14-0. Guys poking me and I was pissed.
Serious chit, the Cops had to intervene post-game when we were
waving the Hawk banner. Those Skin fans poking left crying and yes,
as fans, it was quite humorous.

A lot of smack talk was happenin' pre-game.
Skin fans were getting their pictures taken at field level where I was standing
watching the LOB backpedal, etc, and every fan that took pictures, I said
"you better smile big because that's the last time you'll be smilin today."

Walking through their tail gate parties was a whole other story.

I love going on the road because of the banter that takes place. Sherman
brings it and it rubs off on the fans, me included. Heck, it's only for a day
and you only live once.

Dont give me this shit about how if he was on your team you still wouldnt like him. Because if he is on your team you would understand that these few stories that the média pounds away at are only à very small fraction of who this guy is.

It makes me sad that so many of you ladies judge these football players more by soundbites than play on the field.

As you can see from the above gif, he is utterly unlikable. If he were a Niner, I can't say I would be displeased to have a guy with his talent. You guys don't cut Harbaugh any slack so I don't see why you would expect any different for Sherman.

Sherman talks a lot. Too much for my personal taste. But I have learned enough about him to realize that he seems to be a good, solid person at heart. His charitable work should be enough to show that. Plus he is very personable. We had Gary Payton up here, so we understand the psychology behind it. I understand why so many dislike him because of his mouth but he has certainly shown that he goes much deeper than just what he says.

I'm sure I can find examples of his charitable actions. I can't help it, I don't like Sherman and probably never will. That doesn't mean I'm going to scream at you guys about it. I love Sherman's play on the field but cannot stand that he always runs his mouth. If you have actually seen serious interviews he has done, he is actually a pretty smart guy. Which is why I hate that he talks to much shit. IMO by trash talking and yapping his mouth he makes himself look like an ignorant thug, which he is not. Seahawk fans seem to be convinced his trash talking is good for himself and the team but I highly disagree.

Sherman is a great player. The best CB in the NFL IMO, but he draws the attention away from his play on the field by running his mouth off of it. I just wish he would shut up and play football. I cringed when I saw he complained about the refs because I didn't want him to go down to SF's level. Oh well.

This is such BS. You "tolerate" Sherman because he is a Seahawk. Just like I would tolerate him if he was a Cardinal. And unless you know him in close quarters, personally, you have no idea if he is a good person. You know what the biased Seattle media says about him. Just because he voulenteers or donates does not mean he is a good person. He might feel forced to do those things because his publicist tells him to. He might get home from a charity event and bitch about what a waste if time it is.

He is simply not a likeable figure unless he is on your team. But I would certianly "tolerate" him if he was a Cardinal.

I agree with most of this post. And if he is promoting himself as a villan, he is doing a great job, because most people dislike his antics.

Honestly, it's to the point now where I could care less. Trash talking is all over the place in football from the NFL down to Pee Wees. The writers must be doing their job well garnering all these reactions from the fans and they'll keep writing about this garbage till they stop responding to it. It's football, not charm school.
