He is the #1 reason why I will never want to see Seattle win a superbowl. Blaming the refs for your team losing in a choke. Was it the refs who allowed Gore to break off that huge run?

"We didn't project it to be this way," Sherman said, according to the 49ers' official website. "We expected to blow them out, but they got the benefit of a few calls tonight throughout the game, and that helps you especially on third down. We will see them again, and it will be a different result."

Sherman was adamant, however, that Crabtree's presence "didn't make a difference."

"I didn't make a difference at all," he said, according to NFL.com. "The penalties, that is what made the difference today."

Yeah, just read that. Dude will probably never say the other team just played better that day.

He's the leagues biggest, douchebag. If you watched the game, he constantly has his hands on the receiver. He's a good player but I'm better as a human than him...

This is the same idiot who said right before the game yesterday that it was going to be a "glorified practice". Right...

Gotta love the way he said Seattle expected to blow them out lol. BTW if these teams happen to meet in the divisional round, is there any doubt that the 49ers will use his comments as bulletin board material

I don't understand why people get so worked up about him. He's not in the press with DUI's/assaults/weapons crap/in general being a public menace/... He just has this WWE/class clown act. If you don't like it, then don't listen. He's the NFL's version of a troll.

Yeah, I think it's pretty clear at this point that Sherman is a classless player. Having said that, he is still a top 3 CB in the NFL. When you play as well as he does at a premium position, people tend to forget all the extra bullshit you carry along with you.

If the refs called every PI and holding on Seattle...Seattle would suck.

Lol. I wouldn't go that far but they wouldn't be nearly as effective. Their secondary just likes to touch a lot.

Well if there going to call it that way then start calling push-offs by the WR's as well. Then we'll be back to the days of short, speedy WR's ad DB's with the bigger guys running nothing but the underneath crap. It goes both ways.

If he was a 49er, what would your stance be? I'm pretty sure you would feel differently.

I'm not worked up about it but I do find it funny anytime an athlete say that they expected to blowout a team and also blame the refs for them losing in the same sentence. I don't think he realize how bad this makes him look. Instead of giving them credit for playing a good game, you instead said you expected to blow them out and the refs were the only reason why that didn't happen pretty much

And what exactly are you basing that on? I was the first to say Jerramy Stevens should be shipped out because the dude was a public menace. Hamlin was a complete idiot as well and I was glad to see him go. It's called personal accountability and that team had none of it.

Looks like another hate Seattle thread...so much butthurt and anger towards the Hawks. No wonder we as Hawks fans are so defensive all the time. Of course I wouldn't expect anything less from a Saints fan, bkballer has probably been dying to find something negative to post about the Hawks since his team got demolished on national TV.

I'm basing on human nature, bro. When you have a piece of shit like Sherman on your team, you put up with him because he's a good player. If he's not on your team, how can you deny that you wouldn't like him? I never liked T.O. as a person but as a player he was good so I put up with him. It doesn't help that Sherman is a Seahawk and I'm forced to listen to that, troll.

That MAY play a role in my hatred for him, maybe. :noidea:

Be realistic. This is a hate Sherman thread and he deserves it. I don't troll your team and give them respect. I hate that dude and he merits my disdain for him.

If they do face each other in the playoffs, the game is almost certain to be in Seattle, where bulletin board material material is unlikely to carry even the little weight it might in SF.

As gohusk mentioned correctly, Sherman has a WWE type act that he puts on in front of the cameras that started last year so he could get name recognition, which in turn will end up in a much larger contract and pay out for him, which is smart of him. He isn't actually as big of a douche as he comes across, but his "act" is pretty easy to hate...especially if you are an opposing fan. Sherman does many charitable things in the community all the time, he is a stand up dude.

Take 15 minutes of your time to study Sherm, where he comes from, what he has accomplished, what he does for his community and if your still think he is a POS after you know more about him I would not try to sway your opinion of him.
