"where's my turkey pot pie, woman"-Bart:D

I feel SD would make a great pot pie too. She would probably be better, though, if she spent less time posting here and more time in the kitchen where she belongs and honestly the world would be a better place.

I think the answer was pretty clear. Wow, Bart is a little embarrassed about how persistent you are to create weird sexual scenarios with me and other dudes but I guess you're like your hero Jordan, you don't stop until you get what you want. Sorry, though, I'll have to pass, as I said earlier I'm not gay and I refuse to star in your fantasies.

So if that's a no, how come you enjoy gargling Lebrons nuts so much?

Were you previously a phone sex worker? You are very persistent and insistent with your gay sex talk, I’m just wondering where that stems from. If not, you may need a sexual outlet. Buy a vibrator or something and use it before posting here that way, this sex talk won’t leak into your posts andwe can all enjoy cleaner posts from you. BTW, can you make some banana bread to go with those cookies? TIA

If I'm not gay then why would I do gay things? Again, logic is wasted talking to women.

Then why gargle lebrons balls?

I mean, we can keep going in circles all you want.

Really? You claimed you're not gay yet gave no explanation for your lebron nut gargling.

Do "straight" men like you usually suck on the sack of their celebrity crush like you do?

We do. But most of those discussions end up with arguments and they always end up with "well, we'll never know"

Todd knows this.

We had a Shaq vs Wilt thread about 5 years ago that spanned through dozens of pages and not a single person agreed with each other.

Wow you really are obsessed with me.

Divac was a good player and Kobe was always trying to force his way to the Lakers, so not sure Charlotte would have drafted him with their pick without the trade.

But that deal was not good for Charlotte. They gave up an 18 year old future all time great for a high quality role player.

I'd agree with this if Charlotte were just another ho-hum 44-win team with Divac. That was not the case, however.

They won 54 games in '97 and 51 in '98 before age and injuries took its tool on the likes of Rice and Mason, and they haven't reached those win totals since. The reason no one remembers these teams was because no one was beating Jordan in the east at that time, even though the Pacers took them to the edge in 1998.

Bottom line was that the Charlotte roster was constructed at the time as a win-now team and not one that could afford to wait for Kobe to develop. And there's no telling if his development would have gone quite as smoothly and quickly without Shaq camping in the lane and drawing in defenses.

Kobe was an all time great. Not some system player who needed to play off of others.

Maybe he doesn’t win rings in Charlotte, but his individual game would have developed just fine.

The real issue is that the Hornets made this pick for the Lakers. They may not have even taken Kobe had they stood pat.

And yes, they had plenty of time to wait for Kobe if they had recognized his potential. Because their “win now” roster was not ever going to win. They were not beating Chicago no matter what.

So maybe they should have taken the long view instead of trying to make a 45 win team marginally better by adding Divac.

For someone that emphasizes market size as much as you do, I wouldn't be punishing Charlotte for their most successful two-year stretch in franchise history. Because frankly, that was as good as it ever was going to get for them.

Again, no one remembers these teams because they played in a more-competitive era were there wasn't as much tanking and didn't advance very far in the playoffs. I know just about everyone is obsessed with Kobe, but what's to say he wouldn't have demanded a trade from Charlotte as soon as the going got tough? Because he did ask for a trade from the Lakers...

If these guys on those Charlotte teams had reached their primes during the mid-2000's instead or the late 90's, it wouldn't have been out of the question that they could have represented the east in the finals (Yes, that is a shot at the Pistons and the Heat if you couldn't tell already).
