Kentucky is really playing with fire now.

Probably going to end the season with at least 10 losses assuming they don't make a huge comeback tonight.

Lunardi had them as a 5 on Thursday. Don't see how that possible. I would have them closer to a 7 or 8 seed.

As of this moment, I'd probably have them on the 6 line. They have the #6 Non Conf SOS and an overall SOS of 7. That's going to look really good come Selection Sunday. And while they don't have any wins that jump off the page, they do have 7 top 60 RPI wins and 9 top 80 RPI wins. I think they are trending to be a 10 loss team, but even then, and assuming they don't win the SECT, I still think as an 11 loss team, they'll still be in the 7/8 range. They'll still have a better resume, even at that point, than Vandy did last year and they were a 9 seed. The committee is going to reward them, despite the losses IMO with a better seed than their play would indicate.

porter really going to come back this year?

What I've been hearing is that he'd been trying for awhile but he did have that press conference that basically said he is hoping for the green light this week.

I'm assuming the gameplan would be to have him steal all of Cullen VanLeer's minutes and keep everyone else roughly the same. After Mizzou got massacred against Auburn, Van Leer has had about 20 minutes a game and he is basically a role player.

The big thing with M Porter in terms of how much damage Mizzou can do this year is whether or not he moves the needle at the end of games. In the NBA, generally you need a star player to close games down the stretch. I think Mizzou needs a closer because they have issues against the press and 'issues against the press' means you won't last long in March.

I think if M Porter does come back then Mizzou's seeding is going to be really interesting.
