Another L for Kentucky

This Kentucky team simply isn't that good. They're fortunate that they don't have a couple more losses to their resume. I think they could be looking at 4 more losses alone in the regular season. If they don't win the SECT, they're looking at entering Selection Sunday with 12 losses in my scenario. My guess is they'd be an 8/9 seed at that point.

I guess you'll need to be added to the list? Again, everyone is so quick to dismiss them(and their resume) because it's Auburn. If you want to argue Xavier, that's fine, as it's extremely close between them and Auburn in terms of resume. But please don't bring up Duke and Kansas after today, at least in this moment.

I think the only point @ericd7633 was attempting to make is that they're in consideration for the final 1 seed with the way things currently are.

They are 1 of 5 teams that would be in contention for a #1 seed at this very moment. Again, I'm not sure why everyone is so dismissive of them? They've already won AT Tennessee, AT Mississippi State and AT Missouri. Calling them decent, just shows your bias.

They will be right there. 3 one seeds are already locked up, leaving one up for grabs. I'd lean Xavier at this point, but Auburn is next in line should they stumble(which might not be til the Big East tournament). You saying they're decent is doing them a HUGE disservice. I can't see anyway they aren't at least a 2 seed, and that is with them being afforded the opportunity to lose a couple games.

This entire conversation is weird. Auburn is #8 on kenpom and #5 in the rpi. They're 21-2 (9-1 in SEC), and lead the SEC by two games.

They have 4 Top 50 wins, and their only two losses are against Top 50 teams in the RPI. Auburn is right in the thick of things for a #1 seed.

Yep. Not sure how you can dispute it at this point. Doesn't mean they end up as the 4th 1 seed on selection sunday but as of February 6th, 2018 they're in the conversation
