Hey I've apologized numerous posts since and claimed myself as an a-hole. We all get passionate, Lockette in the past provides for a lot of penalties, never would wish harm like this on him. Thought it was something minor initially.

I hope that Lockette's injury is not near as bad as it seems. It is just one of the risks these guys take in this sport.

I agree that it should not be a 15-yard penalty. Lockette ran into the blocker with a reaction he knew it was coming. It was not blindside.

I also don't think they should try to change any rules because of this. It is something that happens in violent sports and if you take the violence away, it will be horrible to watch.
