Shocking that we had like 390 Yards on offense and only a 8 point lead then KABOOM!!!!
I knew it was going to be a nail biter and it was ... up till the end of the 3rd quarter. That Cards team is so DAMN LUCKY to be 11-3 going into this game it was crazy all the lucky breaks bounces and turnovers they got this season.

Yes they are crushed by injuries but i tell you what even with Palmer if they didn't get all those lucky breaks they would have been a 11-5 team at best.

THANK GOD our offense showed up. After Hauschka missed his third i was like OH great now these stipud cards are going to get some stupid lucky play then a stupid turnover to take the lead blah blah blah ...

It was pretty straight forward, we're better than you and we're going to beat you. The thing I liked is how Wilson saw that matchup with Willson and kept going at it.

I wasn't worried i was being honest. I said it would take the Hawks best offensive performance of the season. Not only did we get that but we got that plus 100 lol. The Hawks were only up by 8 points all the way into the 4th quarter. THE FOURTH QUARTER! and the offense was playing their best game and still only up 8 POINTS IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. Then the Cards Magic finally disappeared.

Cards Defense is 4th worst against the pass. The gameplan was to establish a run game and then hit them big. It worked.We play simple until we figure out what they are doing, and then we strike. Should have been 20 - 3 for most of the game, maybe 23-3.

The first two didn't concern me too much. He's never been great from 50+. But the third? Should have hit that. I'll chalk it up as a one off game for the moment. Let's see how he looks next week.

He missed a gimme field goal against the Cardinals last year week 16 as well. Must be an unlucky week/team combo for him I guess. I won't be worried unless he shanks some kicks again next week.

I'm not worried about it, but I suppose that's easy to say because of how much the Hawks won by anyway. It's difficult to see your favorite team win by four touchdowns and be too worried about the things they didn't do well, but in this case I'm not worried because one bad game doesn't erase all of the good/great games he's put up and I'm confident he'll bounce back. It helps to ease my mind that the shortest kick he attempted in this game was from 47 yards out. If he was missing chip shots, that'd be a reason to worry.
