Ok thanks. Bunch of bs it sounds like. And yes they didn't augment the roster when able via free agency other than Ray last year. Sad but expected from here on out. 2026 really screwed us up...
Essentially the closest Jerry has throw Stanton under bud publicly though.

no...i..think this is the thing..,..if they cant get who..they want..in trade...they will just go with kelenic....and next best...till they can do something about it...
its not a disgrace...just a wait....and not trading...is not bad either...but ..they still need a DH..really..the only thing they dont have.....

could they...do..better..yeah.....only a mater...of time till they..do

but think..about it...hancock..dollard...mariners could..use those..guys as well...they dont have to ..do anything....maybe deadline time..mariners will be in even a better situation.

..but that is...the start..of the time..they will..need to..trade..sometime...between now..and next offseason..

pitchers i mean...if kelenic breaks out...situation solved except....DH..

its as big a deal...as reynolds...so.....

snell..is already..in and integraded..in our community....and he is good...

of..
2.5 war...yeah..we know..it would be 4 or 5 yeah...i know...but still...hancock..alone...maybe...but it wont be worth that in the future...

look..out..landing..

lookoutlanding.com/2023/1/4/23396836/sam-haggerty-seattle-mariners-roster-godfather-40-in-40-2023

40 in 40: Sam Haggerty

Sam Haggerty believes in America...

to power in the first place, and we see that idea refracted and reflected in his sons, especially Michael and Fredo. In that way, it’s an underdog story. Which brings me to Sam Haggerty...

Cleveland’s 24th-round pick out of UNM in 2015, Sam Haggerty was slated to become organizational filler. FanGraphs’ last prospect report on him, from 2019, gives him a 30 hit and 20 game power. If Covering the Corner even bothered to give him a post-draft write-up, I can’t find it. In the minors, he did manage to routinely put up passable offensive numbers while being a little old for each level. The two things he’s always had going for him have been his eye for the strike zone and his speed, which propped up his BABIP and helped him steal 113 bases in 408 minor-league games through 2019...

All that stealing is what eventually got him a call up: Nine of his first ten MLB appearances came as a pinch-runner. Like Bonasera or the Corleones, he had to resort to crime to get what he wanted.

So it’s appropriate that Haggerty uses “Love Theme from The Godfather” as his walkup music. Nino Rota’s score, which somehow charted at number 66 on the Billboard Hot 100, is always jarring to hear after the Daddy Yankee and Jason Aldean that usually blast over the PA, but it makes perfect sense for Haggerty.

Fann: 7 remaining free agents Mariners could add at DH, other voids

2. Brandon Belt (35)

Belt’s 2022 season was ended after just 78 games due to a knee injury, and he hasn’t played more than 100 games since 2019. It’s hard to justify banking on a bounceback season for a 35 year old, but Belt might have as much offensive upside as anyone on this list. The longtime Giants first baseman posted a wRC+ of 171 in 2020 and 157 in 2021. There might still be some magic in Belt’s back, assuming his knee will allow him to begin spring training on time. His left-handed bat is another plus compared to this list full of righties.

4. A.J. Pollock (35)

Pollock played all of his 138 games in the outfield in 2022, which is encouraging given his age. His wRC+ dipped below 100 (92) for the first time since 2013 (not counting his 89 in 2016 when he played just 12 games). Does that mean that a steep decline is in order in 2023 or is there still some consistent production left in his bat? Pollock doesn’t walk (just 6.1% in 2022) but his strikeout numbers are OK (18.6% in 2022)...

6. Josh Harrison (35)
Harrison provides position versatility to be a backup at third base and in left field. He doesn’t have the power numbers you’d want out of a designated hitter but he hits for contact and posted a .297 batting average on balls in play (BABIP). Harrison has never had a strikeout rate above 19%. Given the Mariners have plenty of home run-hitting power elsewhere in the lineup (they tied for ninth with 197 home runs in 2022), Harrison’s profile might make for an OK fit even though it’s non-traditional for a designated hitter...

seattle sports...710...does not put him..but i will....
