Game Thread: Seahawks vs Eagles

I'm surprised by this as I expected to see a much more prolific offense from the Eagles, but it's not over yet by any means and give credit where it's due. That defense came to play today.

I expected this to be a game with two defenses able to stonewall the offenses.

If not for the bad officiating, that is pretty much what IS happening.

Funny how Eagles fans had no issue with me getting on them about their consistent crying about false start/grounding penalties in the first half but Seattle fans are bitching because I said IN MY OPINION I thought Seattle got away with no calls on the Eagles last 2 3rd down plays....and you guys wonder why every fanbase on here can't stand Seahawks fans

The Eagles are still not good enough to beat the good teams in the NFL that is the bottom line. They need better players.

Well it took the Seahawks a little bit, but they figured out quickly that our secondary is the weak link to this team, and that is how to beat us.

My biggest surprise is how well Seattle is making extended drives. It isn't the refs handing it to them, they are moving the ball well and fighting for first downs on 3rd.

I think most expected a defensive game. I didn't see any team scoring over 27 and expected it to be close, but I had the Eagles taking this one late.

Who's crying? I said Seattle got away with 2 calls. I told Eagles fans to shut the fuck up about these bogus false start/grounding in the first half.

You're just getting beat. Get over it. Maybe Chip needs to figure out that the no huddle isn't a good idea when you're getting 3 and outs while the other offense is consistently moving the chains.

Look, Seattle is the most penalized team in football. They get more than their share. And yet rarely do any Seattle fans blame the refs for a loss.

The Eagles defense has been anything but perfect and made a few penalties at bad times. It is what it is.

This game is anything but over.
