That and the draft for the limited ammo we have.

Sure was great seeing Alex Collins go to the Ravens and put up a near 1,000 yard 4.6 ypc season.. :rolleyes2:

Ravens were a bottom 16 blocking team last year (PFF) so it's not like it's the Eagles, Cowboys, Titans or something...

Still had a substantially better offensive line than the Seahawks, but I see your point.

Looks like the Seahawks signed Jarron Brown.

Could be worse.

I would've liked to see us take a risk on Terrelle Pryor again. Anyone who can catch 77 passes for 1,007 yards with the Browns is worth a look.

I mean without Suh our D-Line looks atrocious, lol... unless Reed/Jones suddenly become self aware and turn into the next Cortez Kennedy/Mebane combo. Clark has always been used as a situational player and Mingo is like 235 lbs, so he can't really play on the line.... I have no idea what his role will be, maybe they'll have him bulk up?

I dunno...

I mean basically outside of Clark/Reed the ENTIRE D-Line (depth included) is unknown next year. I mean who knows maybe Dion Jordan will get coached up and live up to #3 overall and become a MONSTER pass rusher and Reed/Jones will just DOMINATE the trenches, but I'm skeptical.

Course there was a time when Clemons and Bennett were basically nobodies as well.

I think Reed and Naz Jones showed enough to hold their own. Biggest issue is that we don't have the rotation we've had in years past.

You can also add Avril there with Bennett and Clemons. We got him on a pretty cheap contract and he proved his worth. That doesn't happen every day though.

my problem with sheldon is that his experiment was basically us giving up a 2nd round pick for a 1 year rental. at the same time it wasnt like he had a pro bowl season that 1 year with us so it didnt make sense to give him a massive contract 44 tackles and 1 sack doesnt warrant a pay day.

True. But losing a 2nd round pick for a lost team year was a serious waste. Richardson played well enough but letting him walk for nothing after the cost that was paid is painful.

Well Seahawks will get a comp pick for him most likely.

This FO have lost their minds. TE Ed Dickson signed

Instead of going after ASJ, they over pay for a bum. Its going to be a long season.

Well Dickson will help the OL. If he was younger I’d feel happier about it.

Looks like he's coming for a visit as well.

jonathan hankins cut by colts, 2nd round pick in the.... wait for it... 2013 DRAFT! only 26 and a decent player, could be someone we look at and since he was cut doesnt factor into comp picks.

Isn’t he a nose tackle? So someone running a 3-4 Defense will be interested in him.

our chances or signing him are close to 0 anyways, but he could probably play in a 4-3. he is a run stuffer with some pass rush ability

Joran Brown signs with us (former Cardinals WR).

Had 477 yards and 4 TDs last season after an ACL tear in 2016. I really know nothing about the kid since I really didn't watch any Cardinals games last year (with exception of I think one of ours).

No idea what the $ amount is. Guess we gotta replenish the WR troops somehow..... hopefully he can hit 500 and 5 TDs this year. I'm sure he came cheaper than Richardson.

Yah... we've just REALLY whiffed on Running backs and OLine though which hurts Wilson and shows, hence the criticism from media/fans. Done decent at the other positions though IMO.

Yeah. Although I would say the only RB we really whiffed on was Michael. But OL has just been a disaster.

I really hope that it was all Cable failing to get the most out of the players.

I mean that's fair... most of our RB selections have been late and you can't always expect those guys to pan out. Prosise so far has been a bust but due to injury.... still, that's a whiff.

I just can't really blame the front office for guys who stay hurt all the time. That isn't really a sign of bad drafting as much as bad luck. Prosise has looked really good when he has been healthy. Just can't stay healthy.

Bad drafting and a 'whiff' are two different things IMO, but I hear ya.
