Crabtree released... I'd like to see the Hawks pick him up... Be great to see him and Sherm go H2H in different uniforms...
Yeah, I made an edit on that post to clarify what I was talking about -- the part where you said he may not get the $6.8M if he retired. I think that's his money at this point no matter what happens (outside of something crazy like his contract being voided by lawyers for some reason).

I dont like the idea of losing Earl right now, we've lost too many corners, with McDougle and Earl our safety spots look solidified next year... I don't think Kam is coming back, although he could surprise us, but I don't like the idea of no Kam, no Sherm, No Earl ... @#$^@ ... Keep Earl! Unless they get some SWEET @#$^ deal ..
Seahawks sign former Panthers TE Ed Dickson. 3 years $14m with the first year guaranteed.
I'm told he was rated as the top pass blocking TE by Football Outsiders last year. Guessing his run blocking is also strong, so that trait is clearly what made him attractive here. And as far as being old, I think he's 30? You can block well way past that age.Not liking that signing. Old and unimpressive.
Yep, I totally agree. Graham is a good player but it wasnt the fit like in NO or like it probably will be in GB. With letting him walk and bringing in a more traditional in-line TE, it's clear that the direction we want to go is back to the roots of 2012-2014.We already proved that having a top flight TE doesn’t bode well in our system; that’s now changing under Schotty. Time to get back to running the ball, and this is a Zach Miller type of move. I like it.

Eh we got Griffin too... Griffin almost performed to above average last year according to PFF. And we have a bunch of other rookies we drafted.
I think either Earl or Kam is gone. I doubt we keep them both. We only have like $19M left and need like $3M for rookies pending trade back. That leaves $16M and we still have a TON of spots to fill (at least 7-8 more for active roster).
I did like the Mingo pick. I doubt think he'll help much in pass rush but he's a solid run defender and decent in coverage but who knows how Seattle will use him.
I REALLY hope Suh comes here cheap or they know McDowell can start... otherwise we are really in trouble on the Line.

He's cheap and there's not really many great options out there. Would've preferred ASJ, but oh well.
