Unofficially the Mets broadcast just said Carlos Gomez for Wheeler and Flores.

Radio guys have said similar, but they're just repeating what they've seen tweeted by Joel Sherman.

Not bad. Assuming guys get and stay healthy we may have a halfway decent bench. With the additions of Uribe/Johnson and Herrera and Reynolds waiting in the wings Flores was expendable. Wheeler is the big one but if we had to move one of the big guns I think it had to be him.

*He won't be throwing/pitching until July/August of next year...and that's not even a sure thing....as he might not pitch until 2017.
