oh ya, let's not get crazy here....I may see a handful of movies a year in the theater and that is only cuz of my wife. It'd prolly be zero a year if it were just me.

To me, it seems like a movie where the director/editor shows off the awesome CGI skills. I wonder what the storyline (other than the earthquake) is about - the one that is amongst the actors.

The graphics do look cool though.

I immediately thought of this 1974 blockbuster movie.
It was terrible.
The effects were great for the time.
It had "Sensurround" sound.

Looks shitty. They should just play up the campiness and have The Rock start kicking Nature's ass. People's Elbow a tidal wave. Dropkick a few falling rocks, etc.

I'll be at the theater to see it. I enjoy these CGI disaster flicks. I get to "live" though a disaster while never having to truly experiencing it.
