Maclin/Foles/Jackson/McCoy have exactly zero playoff wins together.

He is trying to get a better defense and find a better QB.
The defense will be better. The QB may or may not be better.

Everyone is acting like Chip dismantled some elite team.

I think the 2014 team had a ceiling. I am not sure they can get better without a defense.
Dallas looks like an elite team now.

So, he is making aggressive moves and taking some risk.
At the worst, the non-playoff team of 2014 doesnt make the playoffs in 2015 either.

I get that, but come on man. Bradford? That's about the biggest risk he could've taken. It just doesn't make sense.

Lets look at it this way: Rams get a 2nd rounder. 50% chance the Rams give up a 3rd or 4th but if that happens then that means that Bradford is godawful and getting rid of a cancer is worth a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Its win/win for the Rams. It really is.


Foles is a bit on an enigma in Chip Kelly's system. The bad news is that Sanchez was able to do what he did. The good news is that he was playing competitive football and winning games so his stats aren't garbage stats like most of Bradfords. More good news: there isn't any evidence that Philly ever had a good offensive line.


So.....I'm not going to buy a Foles jersey but I think Im going to join the consensus and say that the Rams made a good move.

I do find it interesting in that he will not settle for 10-6. Hasnt he been 10-6 both years?

Some coaches/teams/organisations, would settle for 10-6, and not completely blow up the team. In that regard, I do give a little respect for going for more, i.e. pursuing a championship.

But it could turn out, he just thinks he's that much smarter than everybody else, and get his hat handed to him.

Eagles somehow worsened their cap position (I believe, can anyone validate), worsened their draft picks, and worsened IMO the QB position due to Bradford's non-stop injuries and the fact he fits the Eagles scheme no better than Foles.

It's easily an A for the Rams, F for Eagles. Just no other way to put it.
