Gibson wasn’t too bad, smith-Williams made some plays. But yeah not too excitingWow shittier than imaginable except for Curl.
Amazingly strong, considering only 5 picks and missing on the first pick.1. Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina - Big Miss. Always hurt and largely ineffective when not hurt.
1. Brandon Aiyuk WR Arizona State - Big Hit. 2nd team All Pro last season.
5. Colton McKivitz T West Virginia - Hit. He's a serviceable RT and an upgrade over McGlinchey.
6. Charlie Woerner TE Georgia - Neutral. He was the blocking TE for years. Good contribution for a 6th rounder. Now elsewhere.
7. Jauan Jennings WR Tennessee - Hit. He's the #3 WR and clutch as hell. Great for a 7th rounder.
Overall, the Niners did pretty well in 2020.
Jerry Jeudy was the highlight pick for the Broncos in 2020. Never lived up to his potential. Of course, he had 36 different QB's throwing to him in his years in Denver.
I suspect that in terms of players getting drafted, its about 50% busts, 30% role players, 15% starters, 5% stars. Im guessing the trick is to make your role players look like starters because the other tiers are kinda who they are regardless of where they go.Its only when people do these grades after 4 years do they fully realize how much bullshit we hear on draft day.
Teams are lucky to get 2 starters and 1 role player out of every draft. That's just how it is. Take your favorite team and grade for that last decade. Makes you want to beat your GM over the head with a baseball bat. But then go look at everyones draft the same way and you start to understand that every season, despite what we think on draft day, there are very, very, very few of these players that are going to be above average players.

I would give a checkmark to all three:The Bears first two picks, TE Cole Kmet and CB Jaylon Johnson (both 2nd rounders) have panned out quite well, the rest all shit the bed.
The one half exception to that is 5th round pick WR Darnell Mooney. His first couple of years were pretty decent, especially his 2nd year. But since then his performance has been on a downward spiral. Maybe he'll rebound in a fresh new start with the Falcons.
