I admire what Brady has accomplished and I also admire what Wilson has accomplished. Now if you are going to say that Wilson compares to Trent Dilfer then you need to do the same with Brady at the same point in their careers since Brady wasn't putting up HOF numbers either in his first 4 years.

Wilson has played 55 regular season games. He's averaged 211.2 yards per game passing + 1.45 passing TD's/game.

Brady through his first 55 games: 214 yards per game passing + 1.49 passing TDs/game.

I didn't include Wilson's rushing yards or TD's, but if I did he soars ahead of Brady in Yards per game and total TD's.

That isn't to say I believe RW is going to come anywhere near Brady's career passing numbers or TD's when they are both retired, but it's interesting to note that at this point Wilson compares as good or better than the great TB.

well, no. the "then you agree..." is always a laugher. i never said anywhere i agreed with that statement.

brady had 3 rings after his first 5 years.

dilfer has 1, so does wilson.

now as far as game play goes, yes...everyone knows when brady first took over he had a very limited playbook. mostly short passes and check downs. he also averaged more attempts per game and yards than wilson (again, ive done this 100 times)

top of my head wilsons around 16-26 per game (memory)

brady was around 19-28 per (memory of the last 100 times ive done this)

brady was asked to do slightly more with his arm than wilson, at the same points in their careers.

do you see wilson evolving into a 4500-5000 yard QB with 30+ td's a year?
