Soooooo, a Pats fan creates a thread in which he takes some random tweet from a player who tweets these kinds of sayings, bible verses and song lyrics all of the time and tries to infer that it somehow has something to do with contract negotiations.

Another Pats fan or 3 joins in to agree.

This just happens to occur when the Pats are taking shots from everywhere because they got caught cheating.......again.

But Seahawks fans are deflecting.

Yep, that's almost as believable a "coincidence" as "The Deflator" nickname being because of weight loss.

That's good shit right there.

I never knew Pats fans were so funny. :pound:

They came very close.

You have a very interesting definition of "very close." See, by my definition, the Packers came very close, since they were the team that lost in the NFC Championship game.

The Cowboys lost in the divisional round.

That's as close as the Coyboys have come for like forever. So......

Rex getting his last hurrah in. He'll never see the Pats win another SB. Brady old as dirt and facing suspension , it's all down hill from this point forward for the Pats.

Thank you Miss Cleo. I'll adjust my betting accordingly.

I'll take my dorky, short, biblically-inspired, boring interview QB any day. Even if he comes in a bit over the magic 11% cap number.

You can have him, I'll take one that audibles (that's changing the play at the line of scrimmage for you newbie football fans in the pacific northwest) to the obvious running play.

He's welcome to sign with the Raiders or Browns to be the highest paid QB in the league if he thinks he's got a raw deal playing for the Seahawks.
We don't want him, Johnny Foosball has us covered for the next decade :dhd:

It's true we lost in the playoffs to Green Bay but most experts didn't even think we'd be in the playoffs.

That just means you did better than expected. Not that you came "very close" to making it to the Super Bowl.

We were one reception away from being in the NFC Championship game. I call that close.

Aaah, I see. GnG wants a participation trophy.
Don't they get something like this for losing in the divisional round? :noidea:

Wouldn't you of still needed to score or did he get in? I forget already, then wasn't there like 4 minutes of clock left or so to stop Arodg from marching right back down the field on you? I would say that one reception and then not being able to get GB off the field is what killed you. But in the event that Dez actually catchs that ball you still had some work to do. But yest you had a nice season.....congrats.

Yep...well he's not stupid, he knows he's been playing wood scraps basically, but I hope the kid doesn't get full of himself and think he should get Aaron Rodgers money.

That said...now that he already has a ring and played for another...maybe he doesn't care about winning anymore.

People have said I was crazy for saying this, but what's wrong with a 5 yr/$65 mil deal all guaranteed with some incentives that could net him another $15 or $20 mil.
