The Seahawks have the wealthiest owner in the NFL and they are playing hardball with Wilson. He's welcome to sign with the Raiders or Browns to be the highest paid QB in the league if he thinks he's got a raw deal playing for the Seahawks.
Right, because how much the owner's worth is the only consideration... :rollseyes:The Seahawks have the wealthiest owner in the NFL and they are playing hardball with Wilson.

Then sign him. Sounds like RW is getting rattled by this stare down, he shouldn't, it will all work out."Love" costs about $24 million a year, by the way.

Wealth means nothing when there's a salary cap.
No kidding, but it won't happen. Some hard negotiations go on, but at the end you know the Seahawks will sign him.Or the Cardinals in 2017 when Palmer retires. Seahawk fans would hate that.
He still can't exceed the cap. It's not just RW they need to give love to. Thye have already been dealing out serious coin to the Defense. The Seahawks have the wealthiest owner in the NFL and they are playing hardball with Wilson.
People may or may not disagree with that? However, the majority of contracts are already in play. Not saying they won't keep RW. Just saying like many others it's going to take some creativity. If you do pay him as the top QB chances are the will not be able to sign Wagnoeer, Bennett or Irvin. Then again maybe Seattle doesn't want to resign/renegotiate those contracts. The first priority should be their franchise QB.
