Except that is not a fact, only a guess.

It's all but a foregone conclusion.....sorry if you weren't aware of that. He played for Stevens at Butler and his wife was seen on social media sporting Celtics colors.

There has been no speculation about George to Boston but there has been some about Butler.

Someone fill me in... I'm a little confused? It seems like they dumped the 2nd pick in the draft for salary cap space?

For all intents and purposes,

-Lakers get rid of Mozgov's contract
-Nets get D'Angelo Russell

Gotcha. That's a steep price to pay to get rid of a bad contract. A bunch of Lakers fans were telling me how loaded the Lakers are. Why get rid of a young budding star for cap space?

He wasn't too good otherwise the Lakers wouldn't have traded him away. I'll be honest, Ingram looks like a bust too.

So they're putting all their chips on Lonzo Ball and free agency.

He's not bad, just one dimensional. A younger version of Jamal Crawford. They could send the #4 pick, Knight, Len, & Warren. That is a better offer than the gutter trash of failed former first round picks & those late first round picks.

You do understand that PG won't re-sign with the Suns, right?

Well after all Ball and George are young budding stars. If the Lakers get both of these guys, is it worth it?

Well, this answers the question of whether or not they were going to trade for George. It seems as though they will wait for free agency while freeing up some cap.

That's what I would do. I wouldn't trade for George, I would let him come to Los Angeles as a free agent.

Wait... What? Ingram is looking like a bust. I was told they'd rather have Ingram then Simmons. My world is getting flipped upside down tonight.

He plays either Ball's or George's position.

Moving him (and dumping that salary) gets the Lakers very close to having space for 2 max contracts next summer. Even if it's not Lebron, there's also LA native Westbrook.

Ideally, they could've moved him for an asset instead of a salary dump, but such is the mess that ShortBuss left the Lakers with. Deng will probably get stretched after the season.

Can you name any superstar who wants to play for Philly? Nope! They're just hoping Embiid's legs can last long enough to get them a first round exit.

One fan's opinion doesn't speak for the Lakers.

Philly will draw free agents as the team ascends.

Yeah... You wouldn't swap positions with Philly in a fucking nanosecond.
