Not a rumor just forwarding click bait that I have seen a few time.

If you were Bill, would you?

WR is not a top need, but he would be an upgrade.
I would, somehow.

No thanks. There's a reason that Cooks can't stay on a team for very long.

Offense is not where I'd be looking to upgrade personally.

Cut Harry and make the deal or offer a 6th rounder and Harry to the Texans. Trades at the deadline never generate much unless your dealing for a starting QB. Might have to give a 5th but that's well worth the upgrade. Cooks will catch more passes in his first game back than Harry has caught in his Patriots' career.
So far I think Harry has two more catches than me.

Jalen Mills steps on his dick for about twenty thirteenth time.

Rumors have already started about what might be happening Tuesday.

#1
Patriots get CB Kyle Fuller Broncos get 2022 4th Round pick

#2
Patriots get CB Avonte Maddox Eagles get Chase Winovich

I'd take either or both.

Watch the sports news all day today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from a guy who says that the WFT and BB had several conversation yesterday.

He says that Landon Collins (LB/S) and Benjamim St Juste (CB) are the two guys that are being discussed.

Problem for BB is that Collins has three years left on a 5 yr/$84M contract. This guys says that WFT is willing to eat half of it and include it in the deal.

No matter what, Bill will have to move about $10M worth of bodies to fit these guys. If he could moves Jalen Mills ($4.5M) and N'Keal Harry ($2.75M) that would help. The real tough thing is that there's $26M+ on the IR and Trent Brown and Johnathan Jones account for $14M+ of it.

The only sensible thing to do is cut Hightower ($14M)and resign him to a lower number.

Sounds crazy to me, but crazier things have happened. Von Miller got traded yesterday for a pair of slippers.

So will the New England Patriots be involved in any moves at the deadline? As of Tuesday, there aren’t really any reports or rumors to indicate that they will be. However, Patriots coach Bill Belichick did tell reporters that his team has had “the normal amount of communication with other teams” on both ends. Belichick added that there are a lot of scenarios where trades can come together quickly over the course of just a few hours heading into the deadline.

Here’s a full rundown of all the trades and rumors from Tuesday as we get closer to the deadline at 4 p.m. EST:

TRADE: Texans send pass rusher Charles Omenihu to 49ers for “future late rounder.” (Ian Rapoport)

RUMOR: Eagles will likely hold on to OT Andre Dillard, despite interest from other teams (Mike Kaye, NJ.com)

RUMOR: Packers are in the hunt for tight ends such as Evan Engram and Hayden Hurst (Jeremy Fowler, ESPN)

RUMOR: Browns have no plans to trade WR Odell Beckham Jr. at the deadline. (Dianna Russini, ESPN)

TRADE: In the first deal of deadline day, the Steelers have sent linebacker Melvin Ingram to the Chiefs in exchange for a sixth-round pick. (Ian Rapoport)

RUMOR: Teams have called the Panthers about CB A.J. Bouye, but the team does not seem interested in dealing him. (Jeff Howe, The Athletic)

RUMOR: The Broncos are reportedly interested in moving DB Kyle Fuller before the trade deadline. (Pro Football Talk)

RUMOR: As of Tuesday, it’s “unlikely at this time” that the Texans would trade star quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Dolphins, according to reporter Aaron Wilson.

RUMOR: Former UMass star Andy Isabella is reportedly one of the players who could be moved prior to the deadline, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.

RUMOR: Steelers linebacker Melvin Ingram is reportedly unhappy with his role in Pittsburgh and could be traded before the deadline. (NFL Network)

RUMOR: Players who could be on the block Tuesday include Dolphins WR DeVante Parker, Giants WR, Darius Slayton, Broncos DB Kareem Jackson, Rams WR DeSean Jackson and Eagles DT Fletcher Cox, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

--

Previous trades and rumors heading into Tuesday:

TRADE: Broncos deal linebacker Von Miller to Rams for second-round and third-round picks in 2022.

NO trades today.

Reason? Several potential trades were not completed because teams pulled back in fear of more injuries to the roster. That and the increased number of regular season games (1). Another reason is that teams were not willing to have a closeout sales and let players go elsewhere and make the another team better while not getting something more valuable than a 6th or 7th round pick. Denver set the stage dealing Von Miller yesterday for a 2nd and a 3rd.

They will be what they are.

I'm ok with that. The piss poor tackling across the entire defense will need to be addressed next season but let's see what this team can put together for the rest of this season.

I think the no trades was more about no cap space. Offseason team will clear dead weight create cap room and address needs in FA. IMO
You're right, but according to Mike Reiss Bill was ready to move some bodies. The cap space did restrict what the Pats and a bunch of other teams could do.

We rolled the dice on cap space in preseason with mixed results.
We made our bed, now we have to sleep in it - hopefully with a bunch of supermodels.....

We worked him out before Dolphins signed him.....

Albert Brier is reporting that the Patriots have pretty much dropped out of the OBJ Derby.

Packers ($6.2M), Chiefs ($2.47M) and the Saints($1.54M) are still trying to land him. Packers cap pace is much more than the Chiefs and Saints combined and they might go all-in to land him.

Patriots, according to Spotrac have $7.083M in cap space and Bill isn't going to give it to OBJ with 9 more weeks in the NFL season and the large number of injuries that have been occurring.

If OBJ is looking for a payout, then it might be the Packers who will pony up to make a final push for playoff supremacy.
