My assessment? So your assessment is that he want's to play for BB and a rookie and not Camella?
My wild ass hypothesis maybe.

That would be a good deal for ATL IMOSomeone is trying to drive the price up on JJ.
Reports came out last night that the Patriots said, "No thanks" when presented with this rumor. If the team that's supposedly making this offer is a top contender like the Chiefs, Bucs or Bills, is that first rounder at 30, 31, 32 worth Jones?
Or is Chase Winovich, Jarrett Stidham and a Patriot third round choice a better deal? This is supposedly the offer that's on the Falcons' plate. Winovich is a mobile guy who can play inside, outside and the edge and Stidham could be Ryan's perfect backup. Plus they would be getting a pick that's at worst case, late in the third. One pick or two known players and a lesser pick?
Well at least now we can put it to bedJust came out that it's 2023 first round pick and a 2022 fourth round pick. San Francisco 49ers.
If you're the Falcons, think that's worth dealing him to an NFC opponent?
I think the Pats offer would be a much better payoff in the long and short time frames.
Maybe. But we can't tuck it in for the night. Certainly can't kiss it and say nighty-night. At least until Tuesday night (6/1).Well at least now we can put it to bed
I still think your other post was correct:Just came out that it's 2023 first round pick and a 2022 fourth round pick. San Francisco 49ers.

Some where I saw Seattle too.SI thinks JJ is going to the Titans.
CBS Sports thinks it will be the 49ers.
NBC Sports Boston doesn't think that the Patriots are serious.
He'll probably end up with the Bears. 8^)
Stephon Gilmore to the Steelers. Currently a rumor which is why I'm putting it here.
Probably not going to get a 1st but a 2nd does not seem enough. So if traded what is his value? A second round pick?
Probably not going to get a 1st but a 2nd does not seem enough.
Maybe a 2nd and a player?
2nd and a 4th?
Very hard for me to judge since I'm one of those who thinks we should not give him a big contract.
He should recover 100 percent but he was not playing his best last year before he got hurt.
Wonder what his agent is thinking. A one year deal showing he still has it might help him get a contract but then he would be 32.I don't know. He got injured after he already was playing at slightly reduced level. He's in a contract year so he'd likely have to agree to something with his new team to get anything done.
A 2nd rounder makes sense I think but I honestly don't know.
Perhaps the Pats work something out with him in the way of a raise but not a contract extension.
