Gosh, it just ticks me off that such a soft call effectively ended the game. The Pens were the better team all period, and have nothing to show for it now. 3 goals is too much. It just won't happen. I'd love to eat crow on it...but it just won't happen.

The worst thing is all four goals have been poor play by our defense.

1. Terrible pinch by Letang. Just terrible.
2. Weak coverage by Letang on Vinny out front.
3. Martin whiffs on the puck.
4. Orpik with a dumb penalty / weak on Fleury's part.

The second one was merely "week", the other three were downright stupid. We can't have that from our D and Fleury.

It was an equally soft goal. But when soft penalties change the complexion of a game it ticks me off. The Pens have hurt themselves in this game up until that point though...no one to blame but themselves.

All I ask for is that the ref's are consistent, call them or don't. I think that drives the players crazy too because they have no idea what they can do.

Right. Allowing rough play throughout the entire second period, letting the players go, then calling a little shove with under a minute left? Nasty.

i remember a playoff game where Duchesne took a puck in the mouth, knocked out almost his entire front row of teeth and came back in to score the game winning goal.
Hockey players rule.
