The reason I call for dump and chase is because it's simple. Their issue is being too cute and shit. They try to carry it in and they pass it to a guy standing still on the blue line. The timing is horrible. Everyone is standing still while one guy goes in with momentum, so clearly they'll get beat to the puck. If they time it right, either way should work.

Cute and shit never works trying to get into the zone. You have to bull your way in either man on man (through speed or intimidation of actually making a power move to beat the d-man) or setting up the dump and chase.
They don't seem to be strong at either. It is frustrating to watch even as a bystander.

That was fucking stupid of Orpik. I don't care if it hasn't been called all game. The TBL player was skating away and he chases him around the ice to give him another shot.

I love Orpik, but that was fucking stupid, killed all momentum, and now cost us a goal.

They've been making stupid plays all night...though most of it was in the first. Consistently going for the hit over the play of the puck. Horrific. Hits come when it's the right PLAY to make, not when you have to choose between hitting or defense.
