Cut TE Richard Gordon and PS TE Arthur Lynch

RE-signed S Josh Bush (Means Ward is out this week)

Agent for Dan Light told me he signed with Denvers PS today which makes sense beings we cut our PS TE. Light is a TE.

Gordon actually isn't eligible for the PS last I knew. So looks like the Broncos brought in I think something like 15 players for a try out and best one wins a PS spot. A good chunk of them were QB's...How many QB's do we need on this team?

Right Gordon isn't eligible for the PS.

We are signing Dan Light to the PS. We only have room for 1.


One of the players I help out a CB from Jacksonville, Schon Thomas also has a workout with Denver this week. Likely for a future contract which this is the time you start working out players to sign after the season.

The Broncos work out players all year long. Not much to make of it IMO, other than a team that's incredibly gifted at finding diamonds in the rough!

I like that we worked out Bryn Renner a QB who was on our roster last year. We must not have seen enough of him. .

The player I would most like to sign from the 16 that we worked out is New Hampshire WR R.J. Harris.

If I remember right he was deactivated almost every single game so if he did it was probably less than 5 total snaps.

I wish Montee Ball well - there has to be more to his story than I know - in my opinion - he is good enough to play in the league.

I agree there was 7 games were ball was averaging 6 yards a carry .. Not sure what's up with him ?

Sorry but I guess I'm not as sentimental as some. Don't think either one will ever get a meaningful gig with any team.

I'm very glad Josh Bush is getting another shot this year. If I remember right he was our final cut to get to 53 after the 1st week of the season with Ward suspended. I've really liked what I have seen from him and yeah agree I think he is a guy that we could develop. He can fit that David Bruton storyline of work his way up Special Teams wise to hopefully develop into a good all around safety.

Bush actually made our roster to start the season. Played in a few games. Was cut when Ty Sam was injured and we needed the roster room to sign Polumbus. The Bills then signed him about 2 weeks later then cut him a week or two after they signed him. Curtis Marsh made our week 1 roster but was cut after the TJ Ward suspension.


Just spoke to Schon Thomas. He said he just landed in Denver. Asked if he could play S with all our injuries. Said several others DB's working out. Really hope the guy does enough to impress to land a PS or future contract, but it will be tough. Here is hoping for the best.
