thoughts? Media loves Paul and dislikes rondo. So of course they are selling this spot narrative.

There were other people around, though... notably, 'Melo.Idk if it was Rondo who spit on Paul but I can't see faking like someone spit on him then just go crazy. He was pretty calm and the fight pretty much doesn't happened if someone doesn't spit on him.
I believes Paul's claim about the spit simply because the way he wiped his face then went crazy immediately after.

And it didn't necessarily have to be spit... might it have been sweat beads or something like that? Or if it was spit... might it have been inadvertant from 'Melo while jawwing was going on?
I don't disagree with you here.Very possible. I just know he felt something on his face then went crazy immediately after. I don't think he was making that claim up....Now if it came from Rondo or it was intentional is another conversation.

To me, it didn't look like Rondo intentionally spit on him... normally, a spitter makes a head motion forward in that case and Rondo didn't do that at all.
I'll repeat my comments from the NBA general thread...
I was exhausted last night... missed all the fun. A real fight?... not the normal play-tough-pussyfoot sh!t?... man, that's awesome.
Of course Rondo is in the middle of it... love that, Rajon! I didn't see him spit... nor did he make that normal head motion that usually goes with spitting... but the replays are inconclusive, so who knows? I believe CP3 believed he was spat upon... but that could have been 'Melo sweat... in fact, I think that's the most likely explanation.
After that, good old-fashioned fight... at least as close as we can get when it gets broken up in about 1.5 seconds... . Both CPIII and Rondo did what they had to do.
Ingram escalated all that. Throw the book at that clown... he straight up got in in the face of a NBA ref, what the hell was he thinking? Push out of nowhere, facing up to a ref, and then piling on the fight?... swinging his twig arms?... he deserves the biggest punishment, IMO.
Good times overall, though. Fun start to the season.

He did in tunnelgate against the Clippers.totally
does anyone think Chris Paul just goes insane in the last couple minutes of a tight game just out of the blue? To me its obvious.
I think that CP3 believes he was spit on. But, so far, no one has been able to find any video that supports that happening.
As Gman pointed out, sweat flying off of someone and hitting him seems the more likely explanation.
You can't possibly be "proud" of IngramIm honestly proud of all my guys.
I Rondo stood grown man in front of them.
Im happy Brandon showed some intensity.
Thats exactly what i wanted to see from Brandon this year.
Im surprised ASF that Lance didnt do anything, hes a draymond lol
Also how the fuck do you start this thread and not put the video
