I haven't given up on the season yet. Hard to figure how they will beat Dallas though. The OLine is going to have to be better. Turner and the offense have to use Dallas aggression against them. Screens, flat passes etc. If they try 7 step drops Wentz is dead. Rush has played under control.

I don't know if you all watched the game but if you did ... did you see Parsons knock that guard on his ass?

I watched it. Parsons is not only quick but strong as hell. He bull rushes guys twice his size to the ground.

Snyder might not do anything as he is in a bad spot himself. He is clinging to Rivera as Rivera represents the "new culture" that Snyder is trying to dupe the public into believing. Snyder might live with a poor-performing team if it keeps people from looking more closely at the organization as a whole. Snyder is out to save his skin and could not care less if the team wins I believe.

With respect to the on-field side, as I asked, if it was a court of law, would Rivera be convicted of improving the team and putting them in a position to win? My guess is that the team wins 7-8 games and then Snyder must make a decision. He will probably have to have someone in mind first though.

At the end of the day, the question is, does the team have a future with Rivera, JDR, Turner, and Wentz? If you feel they do, they stay. If not, they must go.

He cited that the offense is ranked 28th and the defense is ranked 29th. I didn't fact check that. He also said that in year three you can't be completely uncompetitive for large portions of games.

I dont know how to feel. This week is kinda my referendum on him. I'm not even asking for a win. Just don't be embarrassingly bad in the first half.

That is true, but you have to look at the big picture I believe. Questions to ask:

Were you impressed in year 1?
Were you impressed in year 2?
Year to date, have you been impressed?
What does the future look like under Rivera?
Has Rivera brought in the appropriate talent and coaches?

I would think it is like questioning a relationship or job to a certain extent. The biggest question is, does one see things getting better or not?
That is why I have pointed out Rivera's historical record and Wentz's past performances. The best indicator of future production is looking at past performance. Neither one of them have a resume that should impress the fans. Just my 2 cents.
