Man, Houston just took a turn for the WORST. You can bring in a defensive specialist, but it's tough when the HEAD COACH doesn't embrace it.

Heard on Sportscenter this was the owner's call. Morey actually wanted JVG but the owner wasn't high on bringing him back.




Horford would be a perfect fit for a D'Antoni system. Howard pretty much gone after this hire.

Doubt Horford leaves. Noah should be a top target for them though. He'd be a fantastic fit. Provides defense and his passing skills, especially that elbows, would work wonders with D'Antoni

The story I read on ESPN indicated that Houston expects Howard to opt out of his last year and look for the last big contract of his career. They seem to think Howard has to leave. Now if the Lakers just don't sign him
