ESPN's John Keim said "don't be surprised" if the Redskins look to trade up from No. 49 in order to draft Florida State RB Dalvin Cook.

Per Keim, Cook is the Redskins' No. 1 target at running back, but probably won't be around when they pick at No. 49. The Redskins are known to be shopping backup Matt Jones and appear to be looking for an upgrade on current starter Rob Kelley. Cook graded poorly at the Combine and has raised some red flags off the field, but he could end up being a steal in the second round. To land him, the Redskins will probably need to leapfrog the Bengals (No. 41) and Eagles (43), who are also looking to address running back on Day 2.

Mixon is a complete back. Power, speed, vison and a great route running and great hands. Give him a break. He made a huge mistake as a drunk 18 yr old on his birthday that thought his shit didn't stink. He paid price for it and has learned from it. He is the back that this offence needs.

What is Mixon's injury history?

If memory serves me well, I believe that there was some sort of ankle problem that took him out of a game. Can't remember if he came back into that same game or not, but that's just about all that I remember.

I'm a bit torn. I think either would be great, but I like Cook better and if we trade up, hope we take him. My opinion is likely skewed because I watch a lot more ACC ball. I've seen Cook hit the big one a lot.

I have soured on Cook. The fumble issue is huge. If you fumble once every 60 attempts in college where they don't try to strip it...what happens in the NFL?
