Nothing but good news from the sunshine state!

Joint practices with Carolina have been a clusterfuck!

I think you have the wrong team. Carolina is going against the Jets.

And I would say not everything is sunshine by any means. They already have some key guys down with injury and it sounds like the offense has been up and down so far.

I was more talking about them taking a guy like Achane in the 3rd round. If he looks like anything at all in training camp then there is no reason to spend any money on Cook when you already have a home run threat and plenty of other RB's that can function well within the system. Seems like Cook wants the Dolphins more so than the Dolphins wanting him.

"On third and fourth down, with three yards or less to go for a first down, Cook was rarely used in Minnesota. He had six such attempts in 2022, and he picked up a first down on three of those (50 percent success rate, 38th among qualifiers). Elliott had 29 of those attempts with a success rate of 69 percent (16th among qualifiers)."

"On the goal line? More of the same. Elliott was better. On 11 attempts from the two-yard line or closer, he had eight touchdowns and his percentage of positive-EPA plays (81.8) was third-best in the NFL. On nine attempts for Cook, he had two touchdowns and a positive-EPA play percentage of just 22.2 percent."

At this point of the offseason Dalvin is better served waiting and without a better way to say this hoping a big injury happens and forces a team with Super Bowl aspirations to overpay for his services. It wouldn't take him long to get up to speed and ready for week 1 so he can afford to wait. As we see every year some big name RB will get injured and he will be waiting in the wings to swoop in and save the day for the right price.

The keep getting richer because they spend wisely and buy only the best. They don't go to Goodwill looking for a CNC 5-Axis milling machine or a tuxedo for an important meeting.

They don't waste draft choices either.

Jets paid a $million per yard for Cook and you still see him as a value?

Bill with his measly 27 million a year shops at the Goodwill store, at least looks like it, and his draft and FA pickups are from there too like you stated.

How bad do you have to be to get waived by the Jets?

Total Yards Per Game
32nd
297.8 YPG
Sometimes it's an internal issue. Maybe he said something to brass because Breece Hall was getting a majority of the carries?

Sorry Sonny but this is painting a brush stroke. Bill has made some great moves picks and thru FA. sure he's swung and missed as well. No GM hits on all their moves. We need to give him his due for 20 years of some pretty good teams he assembled thru wise moves.

Defense sure cause that's where his top picks came from, but it's an offense minded league now, dinosaur has had the game pass him by. Glad when he is gone from here, hopefully Monday the axe comes down. Happy New Year NW

I don't disagree the game may be passing him by. But you're still brushing a wide stroke. He's had multiple offensive players selected and found in FA that have been key contributors to their past success.

100% correct Southie. Guy is a narcissist, smarted man in the room who only wants to hire his loser cronies. He wanted to keep Patricia and Judge but smart owner Kraft said no to Patricia and had him bring back OBrien When Obrien wanted to bring in his own offensive team, BB said no. Guy is 10 games below .500 and 0 playoff wins in NE w/o Tom and sucked azz in Cleveland to get fired there. Guys is a fraud and is the Wizard of Foxborough, has got exposed
