Let me correct you yet again. Im of the camp that iM fine paying Cousins what it costs because I DONT expect him to fail. And unless he totally fails, I would rather eat the cap space for one more year than be in a position where we burn multiple picks on another rookie QB. And even if the team does totally fail, I would think in that case we still wouldnt be spending multiple picks to trade up. So to me its smarter to hedge your bet on the team and Cousins doing well and save the cap space, than to hedge your bet on he might fail, but if he doesnt we are going to spend more or lose him.

From what I've read, VT has no issue with signing him LT per se, just has an issue with the money and with those of us that think he has been mistreated. But I'll let VT speak for himself.

I'd be happy if he just told us the truth. He thinks KC is a choke artist, and will always be one, because of one bad game. And what he really covets is the possibility of one of those new shiny, can't miss, guys coming out next year. I swear, if I didn't know better, I would swear Dean is really Vinny Cerato.

There is more risk in signing KC to a LTD now than next year. If he plays well we have options to bring him back. IF we lose him to a giant contract I wouldn't be upset.

If I remember correctly the offense couldn't put the game away with a TD. So the defense had to step up and stop the Giants from a Fg. But you give no credit for this. Plus didn't they pick off Eli 4 times that game?

So when Brady leads a game winning FG drive because his defense does their job, he is called the greatest. When KC leads a game winning FG drive that his defense loses, it is KC's fault for not getting a TD? Got it. Hypocrite
