Actually... Moses for losing contain on the DE. This cause Kirk to need to force a bad throw. Now should Kirk have just taken the sack?? Probably. But he threw the pick because he rushed the throw. He rushed the throw because he had the DE right in his face. He had the DE in his face because the greatest RT ever to play the game blew contain and gave his man a kings escort right to the QB... because he was getting blown off the ball. :thumb:

He forced that throw and made countless bad decisions in that game. I agree the blocking was not great but you don't force the ball in that SIUTATION.

KC is gone after this year regardless... u can bank it... I promise you all he's not a Redskin this time next year. He doesn't want to play for a team anymore who continually has to see more of him.. to be sure. When he see's other QB's getting signed with big deals who have done nothing and he who has set every Redskin record there is and the team just isn't sure yet, or just unwilling to pay what some other team would gladly pay I again can promise you he doesnt want to play for this organization anymore. If the team is stupid enough to give him an exclusive tag he will laugh his way to the bank, but his heart won't be here,,, any other tag he is gone.

I sincerely believe BA wants him to fail this year to help his cause, and save him some embarrassment. Remember, to him this sport is a business. He is not thinking about you and I sitting on the couch cheering our sundays away. Having hope he is here next year is fools gold... don't waste your time.

If he signs long term here I will gladly say I knew nothing... but trust me. I know what's in the mind of people. For three years now I've watched this thing play out. From benching RG3 to SM firing to just not getting a deal done. If it was gonna happen don't you think it would have happened already. Be sensible.

I think the bottom line here is that KC doesn't want it to happen. Plus if the organization really wanted him out of here why wasn't a QB selected in the draft?

He's not that great of a QB but better than most.

Watch the play again. Moses didn't lose contain of his man and KC pretty much ran up into that sack. Moving up in the pocket the way he did allowed the DE, who is looking right at KC, to disengage from Moses, who couldn't see Kirk.

Maybe YOU need to rewatch the play. Cousins was clearly stepping up to make the throw when Moses escorted the DE into his field of Vision, Kirk pulled it down. Then he made the mistake of trying to reload and throw it... he came up short.

But once again had the greatest RT in the world simply I dont know.. blocked his guy, Kirk would have had the room to step into the throw in the first place. Yes it was bone headed as fuck for Kirk to try and reload and make that throw because his double clutch allowed the coverage to get into position for the pick on a ball that ended up short.

But had Moses held his block, Garcon had his man beat on the crossing pattern and a catch puts us in field goal range at least.

I think you need to watch the play again...not that you are wrong technically; however, IF did exactly what he was supposed to. Step up in an open pocket. He also had to make that throw...he was just a touch off because of all the pressure. That being said, Moses can't let his man back inside like that. Cardinal mistake.

He was also sacked 4 times and if I remember correctly, pressure came from Moses side the entire game.

You really like to amp up the drama. You already stated that you don't have access to the negotiations so basically this is all conjecture on your part & basically a dislike for Cousins (or maybe any athlete looking for a lot of money).

What exactly has Cousins done to indicated that he doesn't want a deal to occur? Perhaps he doesn't want a deal to occur on the Redskins terms & I am behind him 100% in that case. Again - if you were in his shoes would you just cave in & do everything on the Redskins terms? If they lowballed him on the guaranteed money then why shouldn't he wait until he gets something that is both more on his terms & something that is very attainable (elsewhere if not in DC)? I see nothing wrong in that at all. Apparently you do for some weird reason.

Yeah, he needed to just throw that ball away. Every time I think about last season, I get po'd thinking about that play and his lacadaisical (if I can use that word) play all game - in a game we just needed a decent performance from him. He's a good QB, but he f'd up, and now we're supposed to give him the biggest contract in the NFL just to show him he's wanted. I like Cousins, but the circumstances now grind my gears - as Peter Griffin would say.

Dean, why is it that you continually put the entire blame on this on KC? This is why you are accused of not liking KC. You seem to believe this is all his fault. Why would he accept a low ball contract offer that is border line insulting? The guaranteed portion of the latest offer is barely more than he will make this year alone, which is guaranteed? The offer makes no sense for KC to accept.

Where are you guys getting this belief that KC wants the biggest contract in NFL history? When has he, or his agent, made that demand? From all I have read, he just wants to be treated fairly.

So where was he going to throw it away to? Maybe he should have taken a sack with under 2 minutes to go. How could he have thrown it away after having to reload in a collapsing pocket? The problem was Moses allowed his edge rusher to cross into the pocket.

Because he can possibly get the biggest - or at least 2nd - behind Luck. That's the situation he's in - because there weren't any big-time free agent QB's this offseason. It's business, and his timing has been impeccable. Of course, if the Skins had taken care of extending him 2 years ago - or even last year - they wouldn't be in this situation.

I said he should have thrown it away. I think he clearly had that opportunity.

Show me the opportunity. He had an open Garcon he was about to hit when he had to reload because of pressure. Where could he have thrown it to avoid the sack and the grounding penalty?

If I was KC I would tell the Skins the deal that I want. If they said no then I would say I will play in the tag this year. End of story. I wouldn't just let them hang and not get back to them

I never said accept the Redskin offer. I said counter to what KC wants and go from there. In this instance he is just leaving the Skins hanging without let the Skins know what his real contract demands are.

We had a timeout he should of taken the sack.
