Unfortunately, the Reds are going to be remembered for one of the most epic collapses ever. Up 2-0 with 3 home games and blew it.
Latos let his temper get the better of him again. I thought he had grown out of that, but I guess the pressure was just a little too much for him this time.
It's always something. It's damned hard being a Cincy sports fan. Rooting for Cincy teams is like going to a strip club. You always get teased, and never pleased.
I like what the Reds have done so far this off season.
Me too. They had seven eligible for arbitration, got them all reupped, and the addition of Choo will finally give Votto a tablesetter and the team a leadoff hitter. Broxton should be set to be the closer if the Chapman starting experiment works out. I'm excited. Payroll is set to go over $100 mil this year, as Castellini proves he is all in to make the team a consistent winner.
Lineup
Choo, CF
Phillips, 2B
Votto, 1B
Ludwick, LF
Bruce, RF
Frazier, 3B
Cozart, SS
Hanigan, C
Cueto, P
That is a damn good lineup top to bottom. I'm not a fan of Hannigan and would like to get a better offensive catcher personally.
I like that lineup.... Let's just hope Bruce feels like hitting this month.
He is not the best defensive catcher in the league.
Good ole Jay Bruce. 1 AB; 1 K.
This season will be much like last. Even though I expect we'll have some great results in the W/L column, I think they'll be tough to watch.
