I know it's early & I know in my heart that yes, I am a homer. However, I am telling you guys this Bucco team can play!

This bullpen has the potential to be outstanding! Marte is a Stud in the making! Cutch, is Cutch! I am liking the Snider for Lincoln trade even more than I did last yr, when it was made!

If we can get some of our starters back healthy in the next few weeks, we get Cole up here in June & if Pedro warms to the task soon, as it looks as though he might be, by the way he stung the ball a couple of times today.

I am a homer, through & through but, I am telling you guys...

We Have Good Talent.
We can compete in this division & this could be a special yr!

Definitely uplifting to sweep the Reds. I left my computer in the top of the 7th (with the Pirates behind 5-zip) to cut my hair and take a shower..... then got occupied with wife and the grandsons. I checked back later and..... KAPOW!! The Pirates had scored 10 runs in two innings! What a nice surprise THAT was!

.....especially since their 10th run OF THE SEASON didn't occur until game 7.

Here's hoping this game was a sign of things to come.
