according to M. Reiss Ras-I is showing decent moves on OTA.. yes its OTAs but this is at least promising news from the oft injured CB.. he was what 1st pick in the second round two years ago? hes tall and athletic if he can stay on the field.. in a side note talib is reportedly working very hard in OTAs and the begining of the offseason as well.. which is great news.. there were thoughts he might revert to old talib..

Ras-I show great promise evry off season. I have been really high on him to come in and be our next Ty Law...but I almost expect now that he will be PUP somewhere between 3rd preseason game and 2nd regular season game.

It's all on him. They don't need ANYTHING out of him this year, Dennard + Talib + Arrington + possibly McCourty will get it done, and we'll see how Logan Ryan pans out.

Which gives Dowling an opportunity to prove he can play with no pressure. If he gets hurt, he gets hurt. But if he can keep it together and prove why he was a highly rated prospect, that's better. Love to see him bump Arrington down the depth chart... nothing against Arrington but he's overmatched too often.

good points draw.. I think we have a chance of having the best secondary in awhile probably since Bruschi Vrable and Harrison

There's still pressure on him, though. You can only miss so many years due to injury with nothing to show for it and keep a roster spot. There isn't pressure on the defense, and that's great.

Dowling was looking good his second year and thought he could be the best DB on the team. Health seems to have always been his issue. Hopefully he is given all the time he needs to fully heal and he gets a little bit of good luck. With Dennard's legal issues he will be a very important part of the defense.

If he stays healthy... IF he stays healthy... the sky's the limit. If not, see ya.

Glas-I has the skill sets alwya's has he just seems injury prone if he get's hurt in pre-season then IMO there is trouble, maybe. I assume things are not going to bode well for Dennard and if we lose Glas-I then things don't bode well for the CB opposite of Talib. Personally I think McCourty could cover the #2 receiver with Talib on the #1 this is to say I have more confidence in him then I do Arrington or Cole. I could see Wilson and Wilson at the safeties, McCourty on the 2 Talib on the 1.

He's a 1st round talent and skill set. If he can stay healthy he could a nice #2 CB for us.

As long as he doesn't show what that Florida dweeb Spikes showed...I'm hopeful.
