Are we supposed to be rankings these guys based on their career so far or based on our opinion of them going forward from this year on? Obviously that changes a shit ton of the rankings

It's all opinion so rank them how you wish. I went this year and moving forward. It's why I have Brady 3rd in the NFC South. I see other's have him no. 1 in the division. But for me looking ahead, there's no way I'm putting him ahead of Brees and even saying he is currently better than Matt Rayn is a bit of a stretch.

Wentz ahead of Prescott right now? Now that's a joke. Dak's yet to miss a game & has won in the playoffs. Carson can't stay health. In 4 years has only started all 16 games in a season twice. And has yet to win a playoff game.

And Mayfield ahead on BigBen? :pound:

I really like these rankings. Gold star to Moose.

I was tempted to put Tua up in the East; they're all just big question marks in that division really.

I'm not huge on Burrow, but good list. I agree with most of it. If we're looking 3 years ahead, I'd be tempted to move Teddy B over Brady.

I thought about having him at 2 actually and i probably would if i knew for sure he was going to start past this year . I think Brees and Brady are both done within 2 years. Same for Big Ben

Jimmy G is not better than Goff, Jimmy G was carried to the Super Bowl while playing like complete garbage at home during the playoffs. Goff was at least decent and won on the road. Not to mention Jimmy G has only had one good season and is older. Goff's best season was better too.
So there is no argument for Jimmy G over Goff.

13 - 3?????

Is it? If half of your wins are close wins, it means that either you're carrying a trash franchise or you aren't getting enough done the other 3 Quarters.

Now, there is a good argument that the Raiders have just been completely garbage but if Carr has the Worst W/L record in the NFL then I think its fair for people to push him down the rankings
You said half of his wins are come from behind wins. That is an absolute measure of being a good QB and something that QBs are graded and praised on and so are close wins. I don't think you are arguing what you think you are.

I think your overall win percentage matters, though. If you're on a good team and you have a lot of heroics then you're a good QB. If your record is the worst in the NFL and half of your wins are tight games then you just might stink.

Amari Cooper is better on the Cowboys, right?

I totally agree that winning % matters, but I think sometimes that is out of your control to an extent. I don't think any one stat is the "be all end all" indicator, but most of them are to at least some degree pertinent

Goff 3 points in SB
Garappolo 20 points.

You said there is no argument.....

By your logic Flacco won the Super Bowl in spite of his great defense. Hell the Ravens scored 34 in the Super Bowl
